The Mid-Prairie Middle School football teams swept a twin bill of football games against Regina Catholic last week. 

The seventh-grade team moved to 4-0 on the season with a 20-6 win over the Regals. 

After a long period spent tied at 6-6, the Golden Hawks 

The game was broken open by a touchdown from Burke Berry, with the big No. 63 breaking many tackles on the way to a touchdown. 

Sloppy field conditions made for a run-heavy game in the eighth-grade matchup. 

The Golden Hawks won that game 28-8 with Karson Grout scoring four touchdowns. He had three on the ground and one punt return. 

Dylan Henry made a big play for the defense, picking off a pass. 

Tucker Miller added an extra point for Mid-Prairie. 

The middle school teams have two more games remaining. They played at Anamosa on Tuesday. Their last game is a home doubleheader against West Liberty.
